A Study of the Involvement of the Private Sector in Rail Freight Operation (on Nongkhai – Laem Chabang Port route) according to the Private Investments in State Undertakings Act B.E. 2562 (2019): 2019-2022 (2019-2020)
CLIENT: State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Ministry of Transport
AMP Groups and Kasetsat University advised the State Railway of Thailand on the structuring of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program for rail freight operation between Nongkhai – Laem Chabang Port. Key elements of the work in this project included (i) assessment of the technical, economic and financial viability of the project; (iii) structure and analysis of an appropriate PPP scheme using financial modeling techniques including risk analysis and Value-for-Money Analysis; and (iv) draft PPP tender documents and PPP contract.
Independent Technical Advisor (2013-2018)
CLIENT: BBL Asset Management Co., Ltd. (BBLAM): Bangkok Mass Transit System Growth Infrastructure Fund (BTSGIF)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by BBL Asset Management Co., Ltd. for a 5-year term, as an independent technical advisor for the Bangkok Mass Transit System Growth Infrastructure Fund (BTSGIF). This key technical advisor role was required by the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand to assist the fund management board in the planning and technical aspects of BTS system operation and maintenance.
The Study for Dry Port Master Plan as Regional Logistics Hubs (2018)
CLIENT: Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP), Ministry of Transport
AMP Consultants Ltd. undertook a major study for OTP and produced a Master Plan for development of dry ports as regional logistics centres across the Kingdom of Thailand. Our team successfully completed the study, which ranged from policy and regulation development, knowledge transfer of logistics international best practice and market analysis, to site selection and assessment, as well as concept design.
The Study of Thailand’s Aviation Master Plan (2018)

The aviation industry in Thailand was in need of wholesale reform to meet the challenges of forecast international, regional and domestic expansion in air freight and passenger numbers. AMP Consultants Ltd. undertook a major study for OTP to develop an integrated Master Plan for the aviation sector in Thailand.
Study of Creating Added Value for Supply Chains in Thailand’s Economic Corridor (2018)

The Feasibility Study of a Business Aviation Airport (2018)

Market trends and demand for Business and General Aviation are expected to grow rapidly in future within the Asia-Pacific region. AMP Consultants Ltd. undertook a study for the DoA assessing the possible locations and feasibility of a new Business Aviation Airport for Thailand.

CLIENT: State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Ministry of Transport
AMP Consultants Ltd. advised the SRT on the structuring of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program for rail freight operation, including delivery of a PPP assessment report in accordance with the requirements of the Private Investments in State Undertaking Act, B.E. 2556 (2013), and also produced draft PPP tender documents to be used in the procurement process.
The Study of Traffic Management and Public Transport Development Master Plan in Nakhon Ratchasima Urban Areas (2017)

On behalf of OTP, AMP Consultants Ltd. delivered an integrated urban planning, transport planning, engineering and economics study for public transport development and traffic management schemes in the Nakhon Ratchasima urban area.
The Study of the Fare Structure of the Bangkok Mass Transit System Green Line (2017)

In support of the BMA’s objectives to prepare Bangkok to become a “Smart City”, AMP Consultants Ltd. advised the DTT on the design of a new fare structure for the extended Green Line mass rapid transit routes.

Project Evaluation and Development Plan for Rural Roads (2016)
CLIENT: Department of Rural Roads (DRR), Ministry of Transport
AMP Consultants Ltd. provided recommendations to the DRR for the management of local roads, including defining improved processes for technical data collection, asset monitoring, and evaluation systems that will assist the production of development plans for rural roads.
