PROJECT MANAGEMENT
AMP project managers combine many years’ experience with proven methods and tools to ensure our client’s transport projects and programmes are administered and overseen appropriately and effectively. We are fully attuned to our client’s goals and objectives so that we can together focus on the desired outcomes, reducing risk and delivering quality, on time and on budget.
Detailed and robust project planning, effective scoping and resourcing, control of risk and strong management support are all key to the success of any project. AMP’s project management methodology includes a defining a set of inter-related phases, activities and tasks that describe the project process from inception through to completion. Each phase of the project produces a major deliverable that contributes towards achieving project objectives.
We understand that a project doesn’t end at the commissioning stage, but the successful operation and maintenance of delivered infrastructure or system is equally important. AMP recommends an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) strategy is defined early in the project development, including the consideration of defining performance metrics in order to facilitate ongoing project monitoring and supervision through the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). In this way AMP can offer a holistic approach to management and monitoring across the complete project lifecycle.
Project management of transport projects is one of AMP’s key strengths, which is demonstrated by the numerous successful projects we have delivered and the repeat business we receive from clients in both the government and private sector.
