Projects 2006 – 2010
1. Feasibility Study of Chaiyaphum Logistics Centre (2006)
Chotichinda Mouchel Ltd. in association with AMP Consultants Ltd. and UAE Ltd. were commissioned to study the feasibility of the Chaiyapum Logistics Centre, a proposed logistics hub to serve the Mid North Eastern Region of Thailand.
2. The Survey and Design of Country-wide Radio Communication System (2006)
AMP Group and G-Soft Co. Ltd were appointed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to provide advice on the survey and design of a country-wide radio communication system.
3. The Study of Strengthening Cross-Border Freight Transport Capability to enhance Thailand’s Strategy to become the Indo-China Transport Hub (2007)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned to advise OTP on the Study of Strengthening Cross-Border Freight Transport Capability to enhance the role of Thailand as an Indo-China Transport/Logistics Hub.
4. Planning for the Management and Operation of a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project (2007)
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) commissioned The Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd. (BMA Enterprise), in association with AMP Consultants Ltd., to undertake the planning for the management and operation of a BRT project.
5. A Tracking System for Patrol Operation of Samut Prakan Police (2007)
Amp Group, Vista Consulting Co., Ltd., and True Touch Co. Ltd., were commissioned by the Samut Prakan Provincial Police to implement a Tracking System for its patrol motorcycle and car fleet to monitor and analyse vehicle behavior using GPS (Global Positioning Satellites) for identifying the vehicle’s location and GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) for communication with the control centre.
6. Urban Development Plan, Phase I (2007)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was appointed as the transport planning consultant to analyse and advise on the development of the transportation network (i.e. road, rail and water transport), trip patterns and mode of transport in relation to the Urban Development Plan.
7. Framework and Case Study for Public-Private Partnership in Thailand’s Highway Program (2008)
The Department of Highways (DOH) received a Highway Management Program Loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). AMP Consultants Ltd., in association with Thai MM Co., Ltd., was appointed to advise DOH on the Project Framework and undertake a Case Study for Public-Private Partnership in Thailand’s Highway Program.
8. Transport Development Plan for Suvarnabhumi Aerotropolis (2008)
AMP Consultants Ltd., in association with Chotichinda Mouchel Consultants Ltd., was commissioned to advise OTP on development of the transport system needed to support developments at Suvarnabhumi Aerotropolis which comprises Suvarnabhumi International Airport and the surrounding communities.
9. The Study of Truck Route Development and Multimodal Freight Transport Management System (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd., in association with Chiang Mai University, was commissioned to advise OTP on the Development of Truck Routes and a Freight Transport Management System to support the Multimodal Transport Framework. Recommendations were made to enhance the transport network and develop truck routes where there are links with main inter-modal transport facilities.
10. The Study on Strategy of Strengthening Transport Linkages Capability in order to Accommodate an Expansion of Economic, Trade and Investment Route (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned to undertake a Study of the Ability of Strategic Transport Linkages to accommodate an expansion of trade and to identify the investment needed.
11. Local Road Development Master Plan (Phase 1) (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd., PTE Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd., and Seven Associates Consultant Co., Ltd. were commissioned by DRR to develop the 1st phase of its rural local road master plan.
12. The Study of Common Ticketing to Encourage Greater Utilisation of Travel on Transit System and Establishment of Central Clearing House (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd.; AMP Development Ltd., AMR Asia Co., Ltd., G-Soft Co., Ltd. and PlanPro Corp. Ltd. were commissioned by OTP to carry out a Study of a Common Ticket System for Public Transport and the Establishment of a Clearing House.
13. The Study on Development of High Potential Industries and Services in the Southern Region (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned to advise the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) on the development of high potential, large-scale industries in the Southern Region of Thailand.
14. Study of Fixed Route Bus Reform in Thailand (2009)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by Department of Land Transport to advise on how the operation of fixed-route buses in segments 2, 3 and 4 (including segment 1 in each province) could be improved.
15. The Study on Public Transport Operation Development for Intercity Passengers (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd., in association with PlanPro Corp., Ltd. and Chotichinda Mouchel Consultant Ltd., were commissioned by OTP to investigate improvement of public transport operation for intercity passengers.
16. Development of Common Fare System for Public Transport in Bangkok Metropolitan Area (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. and Avantgarde Capital Co., Ltd. were commissioned by OTP to develop a framework for implementation of a common fare system for public transit systems in Bangkok Metropolitan Area and its surrounds, including rail mass transit, bus, and boat.
17. Local Road Development Master Plan (Phase 2) (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. and PTE Engineering Consultant Co., Ltd. were commissioned by DRR to develop the 2nd phase of its rural local road master plan in order to further enhance the budgetary processes of local administrative organizations for rural local road improvement.
18. TCL Business Plan (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by TCL to structure and draft its business plan in order to prepare the firm for the implementation of intercity bus deregulation policy.
19. Consultant for the Selection of Provider and Contractor of the Automatic Fare Collection System for the Bus Rapid Transit System in Bangkok (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by The Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd. to act as consultant for the selection of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System Provider and Contractor for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.
20. Advisory Service on Implementation of the BRT Automatic Fare Collection System (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by The Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd. to provide advice on the implementation and operation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service linking Chong Nonsi and Krungthep Bridge.
21. Independent Consultant for the Implementation of the Automatic Fare Collection System for Bus Rapid Transit in Bangkok (2010)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was commissioned by The Krungthep Thanakom Co. Ltd. to act as an independent consultant for implementation of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for the first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route in Bangkok.
