Projects 1996 – 2000
1. Bangkok Land Use Plan- Additional Traffic and Transportation Planning (1996)
AMP Consultants Ltd worked as an integral part of the EC/ BMA Planning Team in preparing the Bangkok Land Use Plan for the Department of City Planning, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).
2. In-House Advisor to Department of City Planning (1997)
AMP Consultants Ltd were engaged by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), City Planning Department, to provide advice on transportation strategy, policy and infrastructure requirements (both private and public) to support the Bangkok plan from 1995 to 2005.
3. In-House Advisor to Department of Traffic and Transportation- Organisation Study (1998)
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), Department of Traffic and Transportation (DTT) commissioned AMP Consultants Ltd. as a specialist inhouse consultant. One of principle tasks was to study and improve the Organisation Structure of the DTT.
4. In-House Advisor to Department of Traffic and Transportation (1998)
AMP Consultants Ltd. also produced designs and contract documentation for a new state-of-the-art ATC system including road network management and automatic incidence detection for further development of work for the Department of Traffic and Transportation.
5. Ayutthaya Infrastructure Project (1998)
AMP Consultants Ltd. to develop the Ayutthaya Infrastructure Plan aiming at supporting ambitious development plans, but at the same time preserving and enhancing the unique outline and heritage of Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand, which was declared a World Heritage Site in 1996.
6. MIS in Advice on Institutional, Safety and Service Integration Issue (1998)
Advice on Institutional, Safety and Service Integration Issues for the Project by the Department of Land Transport was undertaken by AMP Consultants Ltd, in association with JMP Consultants Ltd and the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) of the UK.
7. Bangkok Public Transport (2000)
AMP Consultants Ltd. was invited to be a specialist adviser to Ove Arup (Hong Kong) on traffic surveys and ridership forecasts for Public Transport and Investment in Bangkok.
8. GIS Application : City Planning Database (2000)
AMP Consultants Ltd. were commissioned by AMR Asia Co. Ltd. to be the specialist Traffic and Transport consultant, including Urban Planning and Survey Adviser, for the Project.
9. Training on Policy Formulation, Strategic Planning and Implementation (2000)
OTP commissioned the Institute for Transport Studies, University in Leeds, UK and AMP Consultants Ltd to develop a Seminar / Workshop program for senior Southeast Government officers of Cambodia, China, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, to be held in Bangkok.
