
Dr. Paul Timms has 40 years of experience in transport research and consultancy projects, specialising in the interface between transport modelling and transport a method for estimating trip matrices from traffic counts. He has a long track record of constructing sets of alternative long-term future scenarios to provide contexts for analysing policies over a wide variety of transport sectors, concerning global, international, national and urban scales, adopting alternative methodologies such as forecasting, backcasting, foresight, visioning, trend-brake analysis and disruption analysis. Overseas Professional Engagements have included consultancy, research and teaching assignments in Thailand, Vietnam, India, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, El Salvador, Rwanda, Chile, Russia, China and Ghana.
